The Ecosystem Studio is a micro-studio dedicated to making Bristol's fast-growth community more transparent, more connected, and more successful.

The Studio

The Ecosystem Studio is the consultancy, facilitation, and community practice of Briony. She is a network weaver, ecosystem builder, and facilitator based in the Greater Bristol and West of England region.

With over two decades working at the intersection of entrepreneurship, community, and systems thinking, Briony brings a rare combination: the strategic clarity of a consultant, the warmth of a community host, and the analytical eye of an ecosystem intelligence specialist.

What drives us

We believe that a rising tide lifts all boats, and it's that energy that is at the centre of all our projects and activities. We believe that ecosystems thrive when people can see each other clearly, trust each other enough to collaborate, and can access the knowledge and connections they need at the right moment. That belief shapes everything we do - from the Bristol Business Bugle to a strategic away-day facilitation to Electra's regular events where awesome women unite.

We're unapologetically local. The West of England (or Greater Bristol, as we like to call it) is our home and our focus. We know the funding landscape, the key players, the gaps, and the untapped potential like the back of our hand, and we work every day to close the distance between where things are and where they could be.

Our Approach

We draw on network weaving theory and the work of June Holley. Priya Parker's convening principles are core to our thinking, and we integrate our own mind-body-business approach to sustainable growth because we think the best business and ecosystem builders look after themselves, and their business, as well as being active members of their communities.
